Cocchi on the rocks recently became the official post-work drink at home for my girlfriend and I. When I saw Nopa had a whole slew of Cocchi cocktails I couldn't resist.

Week 6: Brooklyn at Cafe des Amis
Evan Williams 7-year bourbon, Noilly Prat vermouth, Amer Picon, Luxardo maraschino
According the restaurant's menu almost every burough of New York has a cocktail in its name; however, only the Manhattan has remained in the public eye. The cocktail was much sweeter than I expected, but still delicious.
Note: Despite being such a food centric city, I feel that large pockets of San Francisco still lack good restaurants with full bars. I'm very excited about Cafe des Amis' opening for this reason, and I am sure other residents in the northern part of the city agree.

Damrak gin, green chartreuse, Luxardo maraschino, lime, sugar
The menu states that this is a prohibition-era cocktail first served at the Detroit Athletic Club. The herbaceous flavor from the chartreuse is definitely the main player in this cocktail.

Week 4: The Darb at Comstock Saloon
Equal parts gin, dry vermouth, apricot brandy, and a few dashes of lemon juice
We went to Comstock on one of the hottest days in San Francisco in recent memory with temperatures still in the mid 80's at 8pm. The Darb was perfect -- not too sweet, and super refreshing.

Week 2: Peachy Keane at Cyrus Restaurant
Weller Reserve bourbon, fresh peaches, lemon juice, brown sugar-black peppercorn syrup, and egg white
Scott Beattie put Cyrus on the map with his fresh ingredient approach. The bar hasn't skipped a beat with Erika Frey at the helm. Like all drinks I have had at Cyrus, this cocktail was amazing.
